Y-Axis Experiment

Motors are mounted, and X-axis is partially assembled. I don’t have any printed parts yet so I’m doing the steps out of proper order. Also, for the Y-axis I’m thinking of hacking together a temporary solution using a drawer slide and salvaged parts: a printer output tray and scanner glass bed.

Turns out someone had the same idea, only they made ALL the axes using drawer slides – 2 per axis.

    hey there im esmat from syria and i found ur idea is amazing…. looking forward to do it like the same way u did…..since i cant get any good linear rail or actuaters i’ll be using drawer sliders too XD
